Christian Faith and Values that were modeled
"Totally love Him, Who gave Himself totally for your love."- Clare of Assisi
Clare has shown a lot of values throughout her life. Most of these values came from the inspiration of Francis Assisi. These values include:
- Stewardship: She showed stewardship towards the church her loved ones, such as; her family and friends.
- Kindness: To show a friendly feeling towards someone.
- Compassion: She showed compassion towards the people she loved and towards people that were in need.
- Obedience: She obeyed God and the rules of the church and their beliefs.
- Passionate: She was passionate about caring for other and making sure people had good lives.
- Faithful: She was faithful towards the church and to God.
- Respect: She shows respect for the church and the people that attend church; she also respects people that don't believe the same things as her.
- Salvation: she portrayed this is many ways.
Every single value shown here is what she had shown throughout her life when it came to people being in need, being there for someone, helping the poor or believing in someone doing something, supporting the church, the church's beliefs and just being there for any one in need of anything. Within each of us is the potential to be a light focusing attention on God’s presence in our world. Clare of Assisi’s life reveals and tells us just how much light she shed. Clare learned that embracing the cross opens one totally to God, who keeps teaching the depths of love. This union with God unites neighbors. Our suffering becomes one with that of others. Together, we learn the compassion and love mirrored by Jesus.
